Donald Lee Morefield Sr.

Donald Lee Morefield Sr, 90 years young, passed away on April 20th, 2022 in Canton, Ohio. Born in Ieager, West Virgina to the late Bertha Gosche. Don is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Mary Morefield.

Don was a marine and fought in the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. He owned Don’s Arcade and retired from Goodyear Aerospace after 39 years. Don enjoyed traveling the world, playing blackjack, and spending time with Mary and friends.

Proceeded in death by his son, Donald Morefield Jr. In addition to his wife, Mary, he leaves his grandchildren, Bethany (Steve) Ladich, Donald L. Morefield III; 7 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Karen Morefield; brothers-in-law, Joe (Catherine) Conte, David (Kathy) Conte; sister-in-law, Delores Clay; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A visitation for Donald will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Rd NW, Canton, Ohio 44718. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Donald will be laid to rest in Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton.
