Doris E. Davis

Doris E. Davis, age 76, passed away on June 25, 2012 in Kent, OH. She was born in Akron, OH to Richard and Leona (Orndorff) White on October 18, 1935. Doris worked many years as a clerk in retail sales and was a member of Community Baptist Church for over 45 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Paul Davis; her parents; brother, Warren White; sister, Ida Luzader; brother, Clyde White; sister, Gladys White, and sister-in-law Mary White. Doris is survived by her daughter, Donna (James) Veppert; son James (Shirley) Davis; son, Ronald (Vicki) Davis; grandchildren, Toni, Tina (Bill), Jamie (Monica), Daniel (Anna), Alicia, Jason (Lisa), and Jessica (Jason); great-grandchildren, Jenna, Natalie, Jacob, Mallie Mae, Rosalie, and Jeremiah; sisters, Ellen (Henry) Atkinson and Kay (Gary) Wiggins; brothers, Wesley (Eleanor) White, Frank White, and Richard (Harriet) White.

Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
