

He graduated from Lehman High School. Eddie served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Eddie had many passions in life to include family, friends, boating, and sports. Eddie is a Past Commander of the United States Power Squadron and the President of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for the Hoover Company. He retired from the Hoover Company after 45 years.
Eddie was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, son Kenneth and grandson, Andrew Cross. Survivors include his sister Arlyce Bogard; children, Candyce (Jeffry) Roos, Jeffrey Cross, Sandra (Jeffrey) Maag, Daniel (Diana) Cross and Denise (David) Brown; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00am on Wednesday at Karlo Libby Funeral Home in Canton. Burial will follow with military honors at the North Canton Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-9pm Tuesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association. The family extends their gratitude to the staff of Manor Care for their loving care.
