

Eileen L. (Rohr) Heiser, age 87, of North Canton, (Willowdale Lake Residence), passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, November 10, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 10, 1924 in Massillon, Ohio to the late Melvin and Vesta (Smith) Rohr.
Eileen was a retired farmer, Farm Bureau member, and worked at the Hoover Company as a 'Rosie the Riveter'. She loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens, painting, playing Euchre and watching Dancing with the Stars. She enjoyed sitting on her deck by the lake watching all the birds, especially the Hummingbirds. She was known as the 'Cookie Grandma' because she always had the The BEST, fresh-baked chocolate chip oatmeal cookies for all who visited her. Above all, she loved her family. She had a heart of gold and touched so many lives with her kindness, compassion and love to everyone she knew.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clark Heiser; infant son, Thomas; daughters, Beverly Eichler and Donna Sedlock; and two sisters, Evelyn Rohr and Marilyn Dye. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Walter Ramey of Canton, Barbara and Wayne Roskos of Hartville, JoAnn and Mark Waidman of North Canton, Rosemary Mason of Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Liz Heiser of Canton; sons-in-law, Gerald Sedlock and Jerry Eichler; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; one great great grandson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Delores Frantz of Massillon, Gladys Smith of Massillon, Anna Mary Bates of Dover, Eleanor and Jim Scott of Strasberg, Judy and Tom Cozy of Massillon; and brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Clara Rohr of Canal Fulton.
A private funeral is planned. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Arrangements under the direction of Karlo-Libby Funeral Home.
