Elizabeth M. Butcher

Elizabeth M. Butcher, widow of John W. Butcher passed from this life on April 26, 2011. Born to Lula G. and Edward E. Losch on February 6, 1927 in Leivasy, WV, she attended Glenville State College and was a member of First Lutheran Church for over fifty years.

Preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her siblings, and a great-grandson. She leaves to mourn her passing; a sister, O’Nita Sams of Walker WV; children, Gregory of the home, John (Becky) Butcher of Carrolton, Sharon Butcher, O’Nita (Ron) Amato, and Beverly (Robert) Rodgers all of Canton. She also leaves 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was loved by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A committal service will be at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 1:30 pm with a viewing one hour before. Pastor Susan Rogers will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Israel Lutheran Evangelical Church in Paris, OH.
