

She was born November 18, 1915 in Canton to the late Royal and Nellie (Hammond) Taylor.
She lived in Canton most of her life and was a graduate of McKinley High School, Class of 1932. Betty retired from Canton City Schools where she worked as a secretary. She had also served as secretary for Republic Steel. She was a member of Westbrook Park United Methodist Church and Christian Volunteers Sunday School class, Canton. She was also active in the Meals on Wheels program at Westbrook Park for 25 years. Betty held membership in the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 190; Nazir Caldron No. 27; White Shrine of Jerusalem; American Legion Auxiliary Unit #44; Stark County Council American Legion Auxiliary; and Chapeau Parse of Stark County Salon #335 of 8/40.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Evan in 1993; and brother, Robert Taylor. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Donna Keller, of Canton; granddaughters, Danielle (Matthew) House and Darcy Keller; great grandsons, Jacob, Caleb and Joshua.
Funeral services will be held, Monday at 1:00pm in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with Rev. John Mather officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Monday, one hour before services (12-1pm) at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westbrook Park Church Music Department and Meals on Wheels, 2521 12th Street NW, Canton, OH 44708.
