Elizabeth was born in Canton on December 1, 1933, to the late Nickolas and Elizabeth (Mann) Moldovan. On May 31, 1956, Elizabeth married Eugene Kisman. They celebrated 44 years of marriage together before he passed in 2000. She worked for Sanese Services for many years until she was ready to retire. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoyed pottery, reading novels, and working on puzzles. She was known for being strong-willed and was a wonderful mother to her children.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Nickolas and Elizabeth Moldovan, her husband, Eugene Kisman, her son, Kevin Kisman, her brother, Emil Moldovan, and her sister, Maryann Calugar.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Stephen) Fowler, and her son, Michael Kisman.
Calling hours for Elizabeth will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm and on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday at 12:00 pm with Reverend Gary Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Elizabeth’s name to the Stark County Humane Society.
