

Born May 17, 1955, in Niagara Falls, NY. He moved to Ohio in 1998. Rico graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School in Sanborn, NY in 1974. He was employed by Slipko's in Niagara Falls as a meat cutter for 20 years before opening a butcher shop in Grand Island, NY. After moving to Ohio, he was employed as a meat manager at several grocery chains. Rico loved to cater events and was a great cook. He never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went. Rico was an avid Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan. He loved live music, auto racing, and his dog, Winnie.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Mary Ann (Lum) Quarcini; sons, Stephen (Nikki) Quarcini, Michael (Samantha) Quarcini; grandchildren, Jordan, Onalee, Julia, Kyle, Max, Lex, and Riley; brothers, Anthony (Susan) Quarcini, Robert LePosa, Jr., and Vincent Quarcini. He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew in 2005; parents, Joseph Quarcini, Arlene and Robert LePosa; brothers, David and John Quarcini.
Visitation will be held at Whipple Avenue Baptist Church, 191 Whipple Ave NW, Canton, OH 44708, US, on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
