Frederick Meek, age 86, passed away on October 25, 2012 in Massillon, OH. He was born in Canton, OH on March 20, 1926 to Charles and Christina (Krauss) Meek. Frederick served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a radio operator. He also enjoyed amateur radio, golf and was a member of the TVTC Touring Car Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Frederick W. Meek. Surviving is his wife, Stella (Wilson) Meek; grandchildren, Wendy (William) Rafferty, Frederick Robert Meek, Elizabeth Maxen; great grandchildren, Joshua McGuire, Emma Rafferty, Seth Rafferty; sister-in-law, Lillian Lahmers and niece, Sandy Green.
Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home in Canton, OH. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
