I knew George via IEEE PES Switchgear Committee.

George was one of those persons that earned respect both technically but also as a human and professional.

I worked with George directly on various standards and working groups. But more importantly, was getting to know George over number of meals and conversations over the years.

I served with George on the IEEE C37.23 Bus Duct Working Group as well as a few others. I cherished George’s knowledge, wisdom, and insight. George was one of those guys who really knew his stuff. So sorry to learn of his passing. My prayers go out to his family that they may be comforted in this time of loss. Dwell on the love, laughter, and lighter times of life you shared. God bless you all.
