He was born on October 10, 1942, and lived his entire life in North Canton. He attended Central Catholic High School and Walsh University, majoring in education. He taught biology and science at McKinley High School and later at Crenshaw Junior High. Greg developed a passion for the field of medicine and began studying to become an EMT. He took a position with North Canton Emergency Medical Squad and was eventually promoted to the position of Chief. He also taught EMT classes at Stark State College.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Dorothy Juersivich and brother, Joseph Juersivich.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Judith Juersivich, sister, Dr. Mary (Carol Hill) Juersivich, son, Frank Juersivich of Cuyahoga Falls, daughter, Angela (Jack) Russell of Canton, grandson, Austin Juersivich, and granddaughter, Allie Juersivich. His children were the highlight of his life and the greatest of all his accomplishments. He was beyond a doubt, a very proud father.
Calling hours will be held on October 3, 2018 from 4-6 pm at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with services to follow provided by Stark County Fire Fighters Last Alarm Service at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gentle Brook and Community Hospice.
