Harold was born May 15, 1947 in Canton, Ohio to the late Harold and Eleanor (Patterson) Holshoy. He graduated from Lehman High School and earned his Bachelors in Engineering from Purdue University. Harold was a veteran of the US Army, and owner of Holshoy Welding Supply. He loved the state of Florida where he resided for half of each year.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson, William James Barkheimer. He is survived by his wife, Diann Holshoy; son, William Holshoy; stepson, Scott Burkhart; daughter, Shawna Stayrook; nine grandchildren; and sisters, Susan (John) Kotabish, and Jan Warren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Oreskovic officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4-7pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
