James attended Lincoln High School in Canton, Ohio. He was a veteran of the US Army, and a member of the VFW in Florida and Massillon. Freddie was an iron worker with Local 550. He loved playing guitar in a band with his wife, Jude.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Dick Lynch; wife, Judith Lynch; brother, Eddie Lynch; and granddaughter, Amanda. He is survived by his sister, Judy of Texas; sons, James, Jr., Jerry, and grandson, Donald; daughters, Darla and April; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
A graveside service for James will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Hills Burial Park, 5001 Everhard Road NW, Canton, Ohio 44718.
