She was born on October 30, 1946, to the late Russell and Catherine (Nelius) Willaman. Joanne lived in Strasburg, Ohio and was a graduate of North Canton Hoover High School, Class of 1964. Joanne worked at Ohio Bell and Ameritech with 30 years service and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, North Canton. She enjoyed bowling and camping in Canada. Joanne loved her cat, Hannah.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Linda (Willaman) and Barry Braucher; and niece, Kristen (Braucher) Simms. Joanne is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Carol Willaman and their children, Diana, Michelle, and Brad; and nephews, Marc (Kathy) Braucher, and Mike (Jodi) Braucher.
A private ceremony is planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church, North Canton.
