Kathy was born in Canton, Ohio to Leo and Barbara Wells and graduated from McKinley High School in Canton. After high school, Kathy was employed by Ohio Bell as an Operator. She was accepted to go to school to be a stewardess for a major airline, but soon after decided that wasn't for her. Then she worked for Ewing Chevrolet and then for many years at Ray Molder Carrier and Allied Truck Sales as the Office Manager. She then moved on to work for Waco Scaffolding Equipment as well. After semi-retirement, she worked for Moyer Property Services in the office until recently when she could no longer work. She was very dedicated to her job wherever it was and knew how to keep things running smoothly.
Kathy will always be remembered as one of those that could light up a room with her smile and sense of humor. Always quick with a reply and not afraid to share her opinion. She loved her kitties and enjoyed their companionship.
Life for Kathy wasn't always easy but she never let it stop her from getting things done. She worked harder than she played but when she played, she played to win! Backgammon was her game of choice!
She will be missed by many and remembered always.
Per Kathy's wishes a cremation will take place and she will be privately laid to rest at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to Stark County Humane Society at http://starkhumane.org/Donate.
