Kenneth Dale Keller

Kenneth D. Keller passed away on April 8, 2018 in Canton, Ohio. He was born on February 24, 1930 in Benton, Ohio to Dwight and Drusilla Keller. He graduated from Jackson High School, served in the Army in Germany, was a partner at Locker Moving and Storage, worked for Republic Steel and was a self-employed mechanic for Keller Repair. His passion was cars, and in his younger years, he was well known in local competitive drag and stock car racing circles. He qualified as a car owner for the Daytona 500 in 1964.
He is preceded in death by his wife Jayne (Baker) Keller, his parents, sister, Jerry (Fred) Klaisner, and his brother Dwight “Corky” Keller. He is survived by his son Ken “Gus” Keller of Canton, Ohio, sister-in-law Pauline Kropff, of Massillon, Ohio, sisters; Janet (Frank) Jellison of Canton, Ohio, Mary Burian of Macedonia, Ohio, Lynn (Greg) Weekley of Canton, Ohio, and Willetta Shoemaker of Canton, Ohio, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m., as well as an hour before services on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
