It is such a shock to hear about this. It's too soon to say 'good-bye.' So many memories of grade school, junior high and high school. I pray that the Lord will give everyone His comfort at a time when there just are no words that can be said.

Dearest Maxine, we are all so saddened by the loss of your beautiful daughter and our dear friend. She had so many gifts to share with the world; she is known and loved by many all over the U.S. I have so many fond memories of our childhood together. I can remember the obstacle courses she would set up in the yard for all the kids in the neighborhood. She would give us candy for a prize... Always the most popular girl and the one that we all looked up to and wanted to be like. Yet, you taught her to be humble, loving and kind. Koleen was truly one of the most beautiful women (both inside and out) that I have ever known. Please know that you and your dear sister are in our hearts and prayers and may our loving Heavenly Father comfort you both.

Max, I was saddened to read of Cookie's passing. I have fond memories from the summers I spent with my cousins who lived across the street from you. Your family is included in those memories! I enjoyed knowing you, Press, Cookie & Ted. God bless you
