Koleen earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado. She worked as a flight attendant for a few years and later in retail sales. Her passion for cooking led her to Napa, California, where she owned and operated Maxi’s Café, named for her mother. Koleen also wrote a cookbook that included anecdotes of her family history.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ted. She is survived by her mother, Maxine Pressler; aunt, Pauline Bricker; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00pm in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with Pastor Atlee Hershberger officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Monday from 1-2pm before the service.
