Lenella "Lenny" Jacobs

She was born October 15, 1934 in Canton, Ohio to the late Andrew and Ruth (Daily) Mercier. Lenny graduated from Jackson High School in 1952, and retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Company. She enjoyed crocheting and reading. Her computer helped her keep in touch with friends and family. She liked to chat with all of them on Facebook, playing games, and spending winters in their home in LaBelle, FL.

She is survived by her husband LeRoy; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Scott Wood of Nancy, KY, Linda and Donald Neal of Canton; grandchildren, Matthew Wood, USN, Andrew Wood, Brittany Neal, Christopher Neal; brothers and sister-in-law, Jack and Deborah Mercier of North Carolina; David Mercier of Canton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Richard Pfluge of LaBelle, FL, Patricia and Kenneth Byrd of East Sparta, Cynthia and Michael Sturrett of Gilbert, AZ; sisters-in-law, Nancy Mercier of IN, and Gerri Mercier of North Canton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sister-in-law, Timothy and Jean Mercier, and Arden Mercier.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, with Rev. Diana Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
