Lois O’Ella Nicoll, 91 of North Canton, passed on to heaven on May 10th at Windsor Medical Center. She was born on December 1, 1926 in Steubenville, Ohio to Joseph and Emma (Rischer) Williams. She is a graduate of Wintersville High School.
Lois was a homemaker and the devoted mother of five children. She was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Petal Pushers Garden Club, the Northminster Women’s Circle and a volunteer at the Canton Garden Center. She enjoyed reading, gardening and watching the Cleveland Cavaliers; but most of all, Lois enjoyed spending time with her family.
Lois passed on to join her parents; her husband Lewis; and her sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Dwight Bauman. Her memory will be cherished by her children Robert (Jan) Nicoll; Keith (Marti) Nicoll; Fran (John) Barker, Lois (Bill) Manos and Nancy (Craig) Petroff. Grandchildren Courtney and Zachary Nicoll; Jake and Kelsey Barker and Arabella and Myleah Petroff and great-granddaughter Gracelyn.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday May 14, 2018 at First Friends Church, 5455 Market Ave N, Canton, Ohio followed by a graveside service at Northlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Windsor Medical Center, 1454 E Maple St, N.Canton, Ohio 44720.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to the staff of Windsor Medical Center and Crossroads Hospice for the excellent care of their mother.
