She was a 1964 graduate of Strasburg High School and received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Malone College in 1967.
Louise was preceded in death by her father, Noble E. Gray, her mother, Hattie Mae (Harding) Gray her beloved sister, Doris Ellen Beal and her amazing great nephew, Timothy Thomas. Louise was survived by her brother Ronald (Roberta) Gray and Raymond (Shirley) Beal.
She was everyone's favorite Aunt Weezie. She leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Mark, Cindy, Lori, Trace, Scott, Todd, Victor, and many Great and Great-Great Nieces and Nephews. She was very proud to be the original Louise with 5 namesakes that were so special to her; Ronda Louise, Alison Louise, Jennifer Louise, Joellyn Louise and Grace Louise.
Louise loved spending time with family and friends; watching Shrek the Musical with Grace and Frank, watching Sabrina and Abby Rae in the Dover Marching Tornadoes, vacationing with family at Myrtle Beach. She loved having lunch once a month with her life long friends the JELLS and going to dinner with her dear friend Susan Jett. Louise also enjoyed keeping up with old friends and family on Facebook. She always felt this allowed her to stay connected to those she loved in Iowa and beyond.
Louise found great comfort in all those who cared for her, and it wouldn't have been possible for her to remain in her home without two incredible people. The family would like to thank her niece Cindy Gray Rader for her many trips to Ohio to love, care and "whip everything into shape" for her. Also, her nephew Scott Beal who cared for Louise night and day. You both were more than family, you were very special friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 25th at 11:00 AM with calling hours starting at 10:00AM at Dover First Christian Church, 3029 North Wooster Ave. Dover, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to Community Hospice at www.myhospice.org/options-giving.
