Mary was born in Salem, West Virginia to the late Frankie and Alice (Brown) Thomas. On July 20, 1962, she married Leo I. Wadsworth, and they shared 52 years of marriage before he passed in June of 2015. Mary enjoyed working on word searches, coloring, and playing bingo.
Mary is survived by her three children: Mark (Lisa) Wadsworth, Bruce (Lori) Wadsworth, and Beckie Vance; eight grandchildren: and ten great-grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Leo, her parents, Frankie and Alice, and three siblings: Virginia L. Murray, Joseph David Thomas, and Harvey Lee Thomas.
Calling hours for Mary will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home in Canton, Ohio on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Thursday at 2:00 pm with burial to follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Mary’s name to the Hands of Grace church at 4497 Melrose Dr., Wooster, OH 44691.
