Mary Woodcock

of Stark County, passed away Sunday, April 7, from an extended illness. She was born in Cairo, Ohio on May 28, 1931 to Hans and Flora Hansen. Mary graduated from Timken High School and married her high school sweetheart, Albert R. 'Woody' Woodcock, Sr, in 1949. Mary lived in Jackson Township the majority of her life where she enjoyed spending time with her large family, bowling, and shopping for fantastic deals. After Mary retired from Jackson Local Schools as a bus driver, she relocated to Florida to enjoy the sunshine and time with dear friends, but frequently returned to Ohio to visit her family.

Grandmary was survived by children, A. Richard (Kaye) Woodcock II and A. Ryan 'Rocky' (Celeste) Woodcock; grandchildren, Kara (Bob) Wolf, Aaron Firm, Jessica (Brandon) Shackle, Cassandra (Aaron) Clark, Anthony and Adam Woodcock, Alan (Bev) Woodcock; and eight great-grandchildren including her namesake, Alice. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Woody, and three children, Lucinda Firm, Alan 'Randy' Woodcock, and Aaron 'Rusty' Woodcock.

Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home on Saturday with the burial following at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
