Paul J. Shawk

Paul was born in North Canton, on April 3, 1951, to the late Dwight and Lucille (Jump) Shawk. He was a graduate of the 1969 class of Hoover High School. He met Sandy O'Harrow in high school, and on July 1, 1972, they got married. They have celebrated 53 years of marriage together. Paul worked as a commercial printer for 47 years, the majority of which was with Seiple's Lithograph in Canton. Paul retired in 2016 from Pressworks in Plain City. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Louisville. In his free time, Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, cycling, gardening, canning, boating, and working on cars.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Sandy, four children: Philip (Heather) Shawk, Peter (Michele) Shawk, Andrew (Colleen) Shawk, and Penny (Jon) Moore; eight grandchildren: Mackenzie (John), Gracie, Joshua, Emily, Isaac, Nori, Ethan, and Quinn; two sisters: Pauline and Ann (Norman); and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours for Paul will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 12:00 pm with Reverend Kevin Slyh officiating. Per his wishes, Paul will be cremated and laid to rest at North Lawn Cemetery.
