He was born April 22, 1946 in Halick, Minnesota to the late Robert and Dorothy (Dunn) Hubbard, Sr.. Bob was employed by the Canton Repository and was active in the Boy Scouts of America, earning the rank of Eagle as a youth and serving on the Executive Board of Buckeye Council as an adult.
He is survived by his wife, Deitra “Dee” (Nickels) Hubbard; sons, Doug Hubbard and Dustin (Abigail White) Hubbard; granddaughters, Shanea Hubbard, Jesi Hubbard, Kaylee Hubbard and Nila White; and great granddaughter, Abri Hubbard.
Private family services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Buckeye Council, BSA, 2301 13th Street NW, Canton, Ohio 44708. Arrangements under the direction of Karlo-Libby Funeral Home.
