Robert L. Meyers, age 65, of Perry Township, passed away Friday, October 21, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born July 11, 1946 in Canton, Ohio to the late Robert E. L. and Hilda (Schrader) Meyers.
Robert retired from the Timken Company after 38 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Northwest Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Susan Mosiychuk. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Ellen Meyers; son, Chris Meyers of Massillon; sister, Sally Stokoe of Canton; brother, William Meyers of Canton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00am in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with Bill Craddock officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Sunday, 2-4pm at the funeral home.
