Robin was the second of six children born to Richard and Carolyn Armentrout of Canton, OH and a 1987 graduate of McKinley Senior High School. During her 25-year marriage to surviving spouse Robert George, Robin experienced life in a number of states, including Alaska, where she reconnected with her namesake, aunt Roberta “Robin” Loy, and her uncle “Denny” Denton Loy. A hard worker, smart and determined with a can-do attitude, Robin built barns, stalls, stys, and coops for her beloved animals and renovated even the most humble house into a cozy home. Robin was loyal, maintaining friendships from her childhood and earliest school days, but more than this, Robin loved her Jesus, never hiding or afraid to share her faith. Her giving heart and kind, considerate character was a reflection of the Lord she served to the end.
She loved deeply and completely, especially her family; her four children Stephen, Victoria, Alexander, and Abigail; step-daughter Jessica; and grandchildren June, Charlotte, and Emilee, all of whom survive her. She is also survived by her parents; her siblings Allison, Richard, David, Christopher, and Stephen; and six nieces and nephews.
All who knew and loved Robin are invited to attend calling hours from 12-1 p.m. followed immediately by services on Tuesday, May 17 at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with burial to follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
Robin was vivacious and gregarious, bringing a joyful energy and infectious laugh to all her relationships. We love and will miss her until we are reunited at Heaven’s gates.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.karlofh.com for the George family.
