Royal D. Shively

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and one brother. Left with loving memories are his wife, Patsy Jane (Palmer) Shively, who was the love of his life. They met and married in 1947 and celebrated 64 years of marriage on December 28, 2011. He is also survived by his daughter, Susan Lynn Shively and her children, John Knapp and Kelly Knapp; his son, Jeffrey Scott Shively and wife, Victoria L. (Derlich) Shively and sons, Sean Michael Shively and Christopher Scott Shively; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Betty Lou Palmer; numerous nephews, nieces and their families; and many wonderful friends. Shive never met a stranger.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Entombment in Sunset Hills Burial Park Mausoleum. Friends may call one hour before services Tuesday (10-11am) at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
