Scarlett Jo Buchheit, 3 months old, of Massillon, passed away peacefully in the arms of her parents on April 16, 2016. During her short time on Earth, she touched many lives and was loved deeply by all who knew her. Scarlett was born in Akron, Ohio on January 6, 2016 to Joseph and Brittany Buchheit.
She is survived by her parents; her sister, Penelope Buchheit; her grandparents, Dan and Lisa Carpenter, Tom and Lisa Gordon, Tom Buchheit and Debbie Freudeman. Her memory will also be cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and great-grandparents.
Calling hours will be held Monday April 18, 2016 (TODAY) from 4-6PM at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. A private funeral service will be held at a later date, and interment will take place at Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Scarlett’s name to Akron Children’s Hospital. The family would like to thank all the staff at Akron Children’s Hospital, especially the members of the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit for all their heartfelt care, and support.
