He was born October 20, 1989 in Canton to John Toomey and the late Tina (Cox) Campian. Sean was a tower erection specialist for Emerick Enterprises. Sean was an adrenalin junky who enjoyed being high atop his cell phone towers. He enjoyed adventure, and loved golf, rollerblading, and the Minnesota Vikings. He was a loyal and loving person to all who knew him. He made everyone laugh, and feel important. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his awesome smile. Sean was a kind, long-bearded teddy bear. Sean loved being around family. Every holiday family photo needed multiple takes because he would remove his tooth and smile so big. Sean always provided us with laughter. We could count on him to share some kind of story that ended with the family saying, "Oh, Sean."
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his Papa Ed Cox, and Grandma Joan Toomey. He is survived by his girlfriend and life partner, Ashley Keim, and his daughter, Harper Toomey, both of whom he loved very much; father, John Toomey; sisters, Erin Toomey (Travis Okey) and Anna Campian; Grandma Joan Cox; Grandpa Jack Toomey; one niece; two nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Sean was part of a brotherhood of close-knit friends who will love and remember him as always being the life of the party. He filled the room with his larger than life presence and always knew how to put a smile on everyone's faces. We all have our favorite "Remember the time Toomey did this" story. The memories he made with the people he loved will last two lifetimes, and we're all thankful to have had a part in his story.
Friends may call from 1-3pm on Sunday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made for Harper Toomey, c/o Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Road NW, Canton, OH 44718.
