Tony Betscakos III

Tony was born September 27, 1961 in Canton, Ohio. He graduated from Perry High School in 1979 and went on to attend Ohio State University. Tony played on the high school basketball team as well as the Holy Trinity Goya basketball team. He was a lifelong member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Tony was a self-employed painter for over 40 years. He loved the Cleveland Browns, playing golf, and Texas Hold'em.

Tony is survived by his parents Tony and Ora Belle (Wise) Betscakos, two siblings, George (Natalie) Betscakos and Ann Marie (Matthew) O'Brien, five nieces and nephews: Antonio, Maximus, Joaquin, Solana, Danielle; one great-niece, Aurelie, and close cousins: Cheryl Ann Smith, Vickie Wrick, and Spiro Poulos.

Calling hours for Tony will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 11 am to 12 pm. Funeral services for Tony will begin at the church on Monday at 12 pm with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family is requiring all attendees to wear a mask.
