Virginia "Ginny" C. Boron, age 95, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2012, joining her God and her beloved husband, "Lee," to whom she was married to for 63 years. She was born September 27, 1916 to John and Anastasia Rinkes. She was a summa cum laude graduate of St. John's High School. Ginny loved to bowl, play cards, and spend time with her large family. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton, where she was active in Eucharistic ministry, and also a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Boron; son Leo Boron, Jr; parents; 5 siblings; and 3 grandsons. She will be deeply missed by her children, Mary Boron, Margaret Boron, and Barbara Singo of Canton; Betty Buch of Massillon; Thomas Boron of North Canton; Dave (Judy) Boron of Malvern; and Charles Boron of Arizona. She also leaves behind 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, who will also miss her heart-warming smile, bright blue eyes and sense of humor.
Friends may call on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 with Fr. Stephen Zeigler conducting the service. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
