Jim was a kind and considerate man.  I was privileged to call him a friend.

Gramps, I miss you so much already, but I know you're in a better place and I'll see you again. My heart just breaks to know you won't be here for my wedding but I know you'll be watching from up above. You're gone but not forgotten and loved so much. I have lost the one that has been there for me since I can remember. He was the one who always believed in me no matter what I was doing or what I looked like...I lost my grandfather. 

I lost the one good thing that I looked forward to every Christmas that brought me my one present that filled me with excitement and love when I was a child...I lost my Santa-Gramps.

I lost the one that we could talk about anything, enjoy sports, and share some great laughes...I have lost my buddy. 

I have lost the one that I always looked up to for advice, seek his approval, and to make him proud...I lost my role model. 

I lost the one that I could confine in with my troubles and seek comfort and would assure me that I things would be ok...I have lost my best friend. 

I have lost the one that gave me unconditional love throughout my life that brought me happiness at all times...I have lost my loving Grampalini...

To never see him, nor hear him say, "Tj!!!!!!"...is breaking my heart. He has left me with a lifetime of great memories. I can still hear him telling me..." Tj..I don't know what it is that you do, but I am sure proud of you." I love you so much Gramps...my Gampalini...

Millie,you have been a strength that Dad and all of us have needed. Now it's your turn to let us help you. Take all the love and support that you so deserve. You can call me anytime. I will always be there for you. On this very "special" Father's Day, Dad, I miss you very much. Lisa Baby made your meatloaf but I won't mention the healthy stuff that you would scoff at! In your honor we ate pinwheels and released a special balloon signed by all in attendance. It broke my heart to lose you but I'm glad you are free of the body that wouldn't do what you commanded. I cherish all the memories that I have locked away in my heart. I know there will be more to come with your lively spirit by my side. Thank you for being my Dad. Someday you will be riding a roller coaster with each of us again!! I love you, "Runt"

My heart is aching without my "Gramps"- I can't imagine life without him. Memories are flooding my mind- so many to remember and to never forget. Treasuring that last little smile he gave me a few days ago, a kiss and an I love you honey.
