

He was born December 1, 1953 in Clarksburg, WV to the late Ira and Grace (Edge) Kearns. He graduated from Lumberport High School. He worked at Eagle Glass for 17 years; Allison Welding & Salvage for 9 years; and retired from Ruskin Industries. William will be remembered for his love of motorcycles and painting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gabriel Kearns; brother, Jimmy Kearns; and sister, Linda Snopps. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara (Allison) Kearns; children, Mary Kearns and William (Heather) Kearns; grandchildren, Kylie Kearns, Deidre Kearns, Marcus Moats, Courtney Kearns, Joseph Bennett, Donald Eakle, Avery Kearns, Levi Cook; and Tyler Lambert; great granddaughter, Phoenix; sister, Sandra White; best friend and brother-in-law, Harold Allison, sister-in-law, Lillian Mayle; son-in-law, Brandon Nicholson; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, Canton, OH.
