Adan BV Perez, Jr.

Services for Adan “Dan” Perez, Jr. 62, of Edgewood, are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Canton with Father Selvaraj and Deacon Alan Stehsel officiating under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home. Interment will be in Haven of Memories Memorial Park.

Mr. Perez passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015, in Dallas, TX. He was born November 4, 1952, in Premont, TX to Adan and Susana Perez, Sr.

Dan was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church where he was a Knight of Columbus. He joined the U.S. Marine Corp in January, 1973. He met his wife, BJ, in Havelock, NC, in January, 1980, and married in Fullerton, CA, November 20, 1982. He left the Marine Corp in October, 1983 and spent many years as an Engineering Director for Hospital Corp of America. In 1994, Dan and BJ opened BJ’s Specialties where they manufactured air horns for motorcycles. They traveled across the U.S. with their business until 2008. Dan has been semi-retired since that time.

Mr. Perez is survived by his wife, BJ Perez; Son, Adan Perez III of Canton; his Parents, Adan and Susana Perez of Canton; 2 Sisters, Dianna and Ron Thompson of Richmond, TX and Yolanda Perez Martinez and Pete of Arlington; 3 Brothers, David and Barbara Perez of Canton, Mike and Terri Perez of Canton and Andrew and Sheila Perez of Edgewood and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are AJ Perez, Eli Perez, Cody Perez, Michael Perez, Chandler Thompson and Tristan Thompson. Honorary pallbearers are Allie Perez and Emily Perez.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM on Tuesday with the Rosary at 7:00 PM at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, TX.
