Mrs. Golden passed away February 23, 2017 in Athens. She was born January 27, 1938, in Canton to Carlton and Johnnie Mae Hallmark Flatt.
Aneta was a Baptist by faith. She grew up in Myrtle Springs. Aneta married Charles Ray Golden on June 24, 1954. They raised their family in Dallas. She enjoyed traveling, spending time outdoors enjoying nature, fishing, gardening, and sewing. They moved to Henderson County where she enjoyed her later years.
Mrs. Golden is preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Rhonda Daniels.
Aneta is survived by her husband, Charles Ray Golden of Athens; daughter and son-in-law, Cathey and David Barrington of Channelview, TX; 6 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
