

Anthony (Tony) Jerome Williams was born October 10, 1949 in Milwaukee, WI. He was the third child of Elbert and Alice Williams (nee Hite). Tony and his five siblings were raised in a Christian home where loving the Lord was the first priority. Throughout his life, Tony’s Christian values were always evident. He was extremely caring and kind to everyone he encountered, easily making friends and nurturing those relationships. Tony was a family man and wonderful husband. He had a long and successful career working with computers at JC Penney’s warehouses then headquarters. Tony retired after working there for 33 years.
Tony was extremely patient and loved to problem solve. He was a member of a bowling league and an avid participant in tournaments. Tony was pretty good at shooting pool and playing bid whist. He had a marvelous sense of humor and enjoyed hearing and telling jokes. Tony spent a countless number of hours watching television, attending plays, and concerts with his wife Stephanie. He spent the final years of his life living peacefully in Scurry, TX.
Tony passed away on March 5, 2020 while at home. He is already missed by family and friends.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Williams; brother, Elbert Williams Jr and brother-in-law, Richard Middleton.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Middleton-Williams of Scurry; sister, Erska Franklin and husband Phillip of Ohio; brother, Kelvin Williams and wife Lee of Aurora, Colorado; brother, Reggie Williams and wife Theresa of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five step-children; numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Patricia Williams and sister-in-law, Renee Shorter.
Homegoing services will be held on Wednesday March 18, 2020 @ 1 pm. The address is:

Services will be officiated by Tony’s cousin, Minister Joyce Robinson under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton, TX.
Repast will be at the home of the William's in Scurry.
