Interment will be in Edom Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith passed away September 19, 2018, in Tyler.
She was born June 12, 1926, in Edom to Robert and Emma Price Crow.
Augustine was a life long resident of Edom. She served on the Edom City Council for many years and was a member of the Edom United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Smith; two sons: Billy and Grainger Smith; and a granddaughter, Lisa Smith.
Augustine is survived by her son and his wife, Bobby and Phyllis Smith of Brownsboro; daughter-in-law, Janice Smith of Chandler; four grandsons and their wives: Cliff and Chelsi Smith, Ryan and Crystal Smith, Phillip and Breanne Smith and Blake and Amber Smith; and eight great-grandchildren: Cambri, Cole, Carli, Ava Kate, Bella, McCall, Mason and Emma Smith.
Pallbearers will be Blake Smith, Cliff Smith, Ryan Smith, Phillip Smith, Buddy Smith and Nickey Crow. Honorary pallbearers will be Burt Smith and Buddy Hutchins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd. Tyler, TX 75701.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
