Mrs. Brock passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026. She was born August 2, 1947 in the Wallace Community to John Junior and Mary Jim Guess Leach.
Barbara married Larry Brock on August 15, 1968. She worked for the Van Zandt County Clerk's Office as the Deputy County Clerk. She retired in 2002 after her 4th grandchild was born. Barbara's grandchildren were the joy of her life, she and Larry babysat all 4 grandchildren and much fun was had during these days.
Barbara is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jim Leach, her father, John Leach, sister, Sue Martin and her husband, Larry Brock.
Barbara is survived by her oldest son, John Brock and wife, Brooke, and their two sons: William Brock and Jacob Brock and his wife, Skylar; her youngest son, Jeffrey Brock; and his children: Jeffrey Brock Jr. and Sara Brock; great-granddaughter, Wrenley Brock; sisters: Rita Ragsdale and Robin Westmoreland and her husband, Danny; brother-in-law, Justin Martin; brother-in-law, Danny Brock and wife, Patti; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Craig Everitt, Billy Scroggins, Andy Brock, Jay Baker, David Westmoreland, and Stanton Reaves.
A visitation will be held 6 to 8 pm Friday, June 26, 2026, at Eubank Funeral Home.
Barbara served at Wallace Methodist Church all of her life and loved her church family. If desired, memorials may be made to the Wallace Methodist Church, PO Box 174, Canton, TX 75103.
