My family and I didn’t know Ms Barbara for very long as we had just moved to the neighborhood (we live diagonal on Forrest Drive) but she was always a bright smile and a friendly wave. She would wave for my son (who has special needs) to come over and chat with her in the garage and he would enjoy it just as much as she did. They would talk about her beautiful yard or the passing cars just anything to pass the time but for both of them they were best of friends. Ms Barbara will always have a special place in our hearts even for the short time we had to know her. Our prayers and condolences are with each family member in the days ahead. If there is anything we can do to help, please do not hesitate to ask.

Too many to list all but here are a few, the first taco I ever had was at her house...pretty sure back then frozen, but I had never had a taco! Sides that was something back then, ....Her patience with us kids when we were invited over....Always seeing her and her husband at church, with the kiddos....Candice and I both lost a parent about the same time..she lost her Dad and I lost my Mom close to the same time. In later years whenever I saw Ms Barbara, she always asked about my kids and loved to update me on her kids and grand kids ...she was so proud of all of you all!
