on August 5, 2024. Barbara was born September 19, 1932 in Harlingen, Texas as Barbara Raye Vincent.
During her school years, the family moved to San Antonio, Texas where Barbara was extremely popular. She was very active in many school activities, including band. One of her great memories was when she became the Drum Major for the school band. When Barbara was 14 years old, circumstances caused her
to become a more active help around the house because her older sister was bedridden with cancer. Their father was working and their mother spent most of her time caring for her sick daughter. Barbara learned love, honesty, compassion, empathy, a sense of humor, and a valuable work ethic through this experience which was a great asset when caring for a family of her own.
After graduating from high school, Barbara remained in San Antonio and began working for Southwestern
Bell Telephone Company as an operator. She also became a member of the church choir, which is where
her future husband first saw her. They married on August 27, 1954.
Barbara loved hosting parties and entertaining at home. She loved cooking and creating an environment
of beauty and joy! Our home was typically full of laughter, music and joy!
Her life revolved around her family. She was selfless and always did without so she could give to others.
She showed her love by introducing and teaching the family - with her life partner, Rollin Sininger - of the
great gift given us all with the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. Her father was a great man of faith and she always tried to live imitating those behaviors learned as a child so that she could be sure to teach and pass down these values to her children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollin Sininger; her parents, Raymond and Jewel Vincent; her sister, Virginia Vincent; and other family members. She is survived by daughters, Lu-Dell Sininger Diebold, Tiana Sininger Gutierrez and husband, Gary; and Doryce Sininger Judd and husband Tom. She is also survived by grandchildren, Leeana Gutierrez Duran, Jace Gutierrez, and Chrystal Judd Fincher and great grandchildren Austin Duran, Nicole Duran, Gavin Duran, Lyric Gutierrez, Sawyer Gutierrez, Livvy Gutierrez, Sophie Gutierrez, Chloe Fincher, Elijah Fincher, Lorelei Fincher.
A funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Eubank Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Roberson and Chaplain Chase Smith officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories.
