Bennie passed away December 18, 2018, at his home in Ben Wheeler, TX.
He was born February 7, 1947, in Ben Wheeler to Cecil and Murl Peavey.
Bennie grew up in Ben Wheeler and graduated from Canton High School. He played sports and worked with his dad as a child. Bennie spent 26 years working in the oilfield for Unical. He retired from the oilfield to work his ranch fulltime. Bennie attended Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
He is survived by his Son, Michael and Laura Peavey; Son, Matt and Melissa Peavey; Grandchildren: Josh and Kasi Peavey, Matthew and Natalie Peavey, Samantha Peavey, Olivia Peavey, Clayton Peavey, Justin and Diana Peavey; Great-Grandchildren: Gunner, Tanner, Skylar, Erica, Hannah, and Jason.
Bennie is preceded in death by his Parents, Cecil and Murl Peavey.
Interment will be at Holly Springs Cemetery in Martins Mill, TX.
Family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
