Services for Billie Jean Banks Conner, 84, of Canton, are scheduled for 11 am Monday, November 30, 2015, at the Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton with Dr. Mike Burns and Pastor Rob Conner officiating. Burial will be in Cool Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Conner passed away Friday, November 27, 2015, in Athens. She was born August 22, 1931, in Talco, TX to Leonard Charles and Mary Lee Banks.
Billie was a member of the Victory Church in Canton. She grew up and graduated high school in Mt. Pleasant. After marrying Bob Conner, they raised their family in Southeast Texas. After retirement, they moved to Canton 15 years ago.
Mrs. Conner is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sharon Gay Conner; and brother, Harold Banks.
Billie is survived by her husband, Bob Conner of Canton; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Mike Burns of Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Pam Conner; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their appreciation to ETMC-Athens, Canton Oaks and the paramedics who compassionately cared for her.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
