Billie passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Tyler, TX.
She was born October 9, 1931 to Olin and Minnie Lee Bates Taylor in Henderson County.
Billie grew up in the Henderson and Van Zandt County area. She married R.L. Parker November 18, 1950 and was a dedicated Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Billie enjoyed cooking, gardening and old fashion country music. She was also a charter member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Tyler.
Billie is survived by her Son, Roy & Joy Parker of Alba, TX; Daughter, Betty & James George of Lindale, TX; Daughter, Shirley & Jonathan Wilson of Flint, TX; Grandson, Karl May; and Granddaughter, Amber Wilson.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Olin & Minnie Taylor; Husband, R.L. Parker; Daughter, Linda Ann Knight; Granddaughter, Dena Annette Schwarz; and Brothers, Delton Taylor, Edward Taylor, Jack Taylor and Eddie Taylor.
Interment will be at Jennings Mountain Cemetery in Brownsboro, TX.
Family will receive friends Friday, July 15, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
