

A private graveside service for Bobby Paul Wadsworth, 86, of Mesquite, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Bro. Bobby Deets officiating.
Bobby went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2020. He was born on December 5, 1933 in Wills Point, Texas to Joseph Floyd Wadsworth and Sallie Jane Bishop Wadsworth.
Bobby grew up in the Van Zandt County area. On November 2, 1957 he married the love of his life, Hallie Lynette Martin of Edgewood, Texas. They were married 49 years when she went to be with the Lord. Bobby was drafted into the U.S. Army and served two years in Germany. After Bobby came home from the Army, he and Lynette moved to Mesquite, Texas and raised three children. Bobby was a longtime member of Town East Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for Sears for 32 years when he retired. Bobby loved to talk and was a great joke teller. He enjoyed watching Sunday football. Bobby was a generous man with his time always helping people by fixing their lawnmowers, weed-eaters, cars, or anything else that needed to be fixed. He was a family man who loved his family. Bobby will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Bobby is survived by his children, Karyn and James Baumann, Kevin and Brenda Wadsworth, Kelly and Keli Wadsworth; grandchildren, Austin, Duston, Lane, Megan, Baleigh and Creed; great grandchildren, Hallie, Ivey, Kingston and future great grandchild, Grayson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sallie Wadsworth, his beloved wife, Lynette Wadsworth; brother, Billy Joe Wadsworth; sisters, Janice Lambert and Betty Case.
