OBITUARY
The family of Carlos Remedios announces with great sorrow his passing on April 14, 2021 in Tyler, Texas at the age of 64.
Carlos Lazaro Remedios was born on July 31, 1956 in Havana, Cuba to Carlos and Rosa Remedios. In 1960 the Remedios family moved to the United States, where they later resided in Houston, Texas. Carlos attended the University of Houston earning his Bachelor’s degree in 1975 and soon started his career as a Landman with Longhorn Oil and Gas. In 1985 Carlos met the love of his life, Tanna Williams and relocated to Arlington, Texas where they lived for 34 years.
Carlos started working for Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet as a finance director and was there for 21 years. His extraordinary leadership capabilities, successfully launched him into working for Ally Financial. During Carlos’ 11 years with Ally Financial he was a Senior Account Executive. Among the multitude of awards he won, he was a four-time President’s Club winner, which recognizes the top 10% performers in the nation.
Carlos didn’t just excel in his professional achievements, he was also a devoted, husband, loving father and the life of the party everywhere he went. He was a tremendous outdoorsman with a passion for hunting, fishing and camaraderie that came with it all. What a beautiful life Carlos Remedios lived. He embodied strength, passion and a faithful heart for the Lord.
To carry on his legacy, Carlos leaves behind his beloved spouse, Tanna Remedios; son, Colby Remedios; daughter, Kendra Remedios; mother in-law, Sue Williams; brother, Beny Remedios (Karen); sister, Marla Sagarra (Pedro); brother in-law, Keith Williams (Karen); nephews, Barrett Remedios (Ashley), Blake Remedios, Daniel Sagarra, Ryan Williams (Amanda); nieces, Tiffany Whitus, Lynzi Edwards (Tommy), Nicole Sagarra; great nieces, Braleigh and Paisleigh Whitus, Aubrey, Williams, Deyton and Andi Edwards, Harper Remedios; great nephews, Krew Williams, Brooks and Beau Remedios and Ripp Edwards.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Rosa Remedios; father in-law, Joe Williams.
