Carmaleda Toth Dunn

Carm had been a resident of Canton, Tx since 1979, formerly following Larry as he moved with his coaching jobs. She grew up and attended school in Ennis, Texas, where she met Larry. They were married on October 4, 1963. Carm worked at LTV in Greenville, then after moving to Canton in 1979 through the years she worked for the City of Canton, First National Bank, Canton ISD as a teacher’s aid, and won an award for 10 years of service at the VZ Appraisal District in 2001.

Over 62 years of marriage, they raised 4 children together. Carm loved to spend time with family. She never missed a ballgame to cheer on her grandkids, she loved working in her flowerbeds, shopping trips with friends, and hosting holiday celebrations. Christmas was her most favorite time of year and loved for friends to come visit and see her multiple Christmas trees and lights.

Carm had a soft heart for any animal. She wanted to rescue any stray she found and even nursed a few baby rabbits back to health. Her pugs Rocky and Bo brought her much joy over the years. Carm was the life of any celebration and loved her Elvis music. Her granddaughters will always remember her

Preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Lillian Toth, and son: Larry Gene Dunn.

Survivors include her husband of 62 yrs, Larry Dunn of Canton; daughter, Maurita Kindle and Casey; son, Don Dunn and Tiffany; son, Robby Dunn and Staci. Grandchildren: Jordan Dunn and wife, Morgan, Kennedy Brashear and husband, Braden, Kambryn Dunn, Madelyn Dunn, Morgan Dunn, Ashley Amsel

and husband, Jason, Katie Kindle, Travis Dunn, Hunter Dunn. Great-grandkids: Mylo and Knox Dunn; Georgia, Hattie, and Elliott Amsel; Paislee; Henry and Isabelle. Niece: Audra Toth Mills and Marty; Marleigh and Cade.

She was a loved wife, mom, Nanny and friend!
