Catherine passed away on June 22, 2016 in Kaufman, TX.
She was born on March 24, 1917 in Kaufman County to Hiram and Alma Trousdale Vance.
Catherine was a member of the Church of Christ Church. She was faithful Christian who loved God and her family. Catherine was a powerful, strong, and dynamic lady. She loved to give and gardening was her passion. Catherine was a much loved Memaw.
She is preceded in death her parents; sister, Ophelia Wardon; brother, Jesse Lee Vance; brother, Joe Vance.
Catherine is survived by her son, Samuel Coppedge; daughter, Mary Coppedge; daughter, Alma Coppedge; grandchildren, Gena Welch, John Robertson, Jessica Coppedge, Samantha Brown, Steve Robertson, Kevin Welch; great grandchildren, Ryan Welch, Mary Robertson, Sydney Brown, Peter Robertson, Hannah Brown; foster granddaughter, Susie McCormick; foster great granddaughter Mandy and foster great great-granddaughter Hannah; and brother, Bill Vance.
