Charles passed away October 15, 2017 in Tyler, TX.
He was born June 24, 1928 in Myrtle Springs, TX to Earl W. Golden and Viola V. King.
Charles grew up in Myrtle Springs where he attended school. He joined the US Army and served as cook during the Korean War. Charles married Aneta Flatt June 24, 1954 and they moved to Dallas. He worked for Halco Fence Co. for several years before retiring to Athens. Charles enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting in his spare time.
He is survived by his Daughter, Cathey & David Barrington; 6 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren; 4 Brothers & Sisters: Curtis Golden, Jack Golden, Neva Collett, and Shirley Wimberley.
Charles is preceded in death by his Parents, Earl &Viola Golden; Wife, Aneta Rose Golden; Daughter, Rhonda Daniels; and Brothers & Sisters: James Golden, Ben Golden, Lillian Miles, Opal Turnage, Earlene Reynolds and Lois Mince.
