Christobelle Fincher Salsberry

Christobelle “Fincher” Salsberry was called home to our Lord on Thursday, December 26, 2019. She was Born in 1927 to Alan and Clara Fincher in Van Zandt County, where she also raised her son, Wayne Salsberry Jr. Christobelle worked for Dr. Keahey for 33 years to care and provide for her family. She attended years of Sunday services at Oakland United Methodist Church and dedicated her time as the church secretary. Christobelle considered Oakland United Methodist home and where she enjoyed all she encountered. Christobelle was an amazing daughter, loving mother, proud grandmother and great grandmother, aspiring aunt, remarkable cousin, and a friend to all

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Alan and Clara Fincher; brothers, Brady Fincher and Grant Fincher; sisters, Hazel Strickland and Doris Fincher; Nephew, Grant Fincher Jr and Billy Strickland; Great Nephew, Bryan Womble.

She is survived by her son, Wayne Salsberry Jr and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Salsberry of Littlefield; Grandchildren, Brady Salsberry of Wills Point, Brandy Harris of Euless, Sha Donyell Sims of Levelland; Great-Grandchildren, Samantha Salsberry, Callan Salsberry, Ryan Rice, Zackary Harris, Martin Harris, Connor Sims and Robert Campbell; Niece, Joann Womble of Tyler; Nephew, Cliff Strickland of Austin and many more wonderful cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.

It brings us peace knowing she is in heaven with her family while watching over us who miss her dearly.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 30, 2019 at the Eubank Funeral Home in Canton from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery.
