

He was born on November 21, 1970, in Toms River, New Jersey to Ronald Rose and Jennie Agnello Rose.
Known for his gentle nature, he touched the lives of many with his kindness and courage.
Chris met his beloved wife, Kim, in 2014 and they married in May of 2021. He cherished his family and friends, maintaining lifelong connections with his childhood friends from New Jersey. Their dogs, Jasmine and Brutus, held a special place in his heart.
An avid Xbox and gaming enthusiast, Chris was a huge fan of the Yankees and the Eagles. He enjoyed traveling to Mexico, the Cayman Islands, and Jamaica. A lover of all kinds of music, he played several instruments and, in his younger years, was part of a rap group.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Jennie Rose, and his brother-in-law, Bill Sims. Chris is survived by his beloved wife, Kim Rose; stepchildren Kari and Brandon Shumaker, Amanda and Eric Kirk, Jonathan Manning and Alyssa; grandchildren Anthony, Maddie, Kellie, Eric Jr., and Grayson. He also leaves behind his siblings Ronnie and Donna Rose, Robbie Rose, Kim Sims, Timmy and Stacey Rose, along with other close family members, friends, and his cherished dogs, Jasmine and Brutus.
Visitation will be held at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, Texas, on January 16, 2026 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by a Celebration of Life service starting at 10:00 am.
Chris's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
